Silent movie with simultaneous instrumental music narration.

Stephane's musical narration of sleeping Paris.

This musical narration about a day when Paris sleeps and showing the activities of those who were out of the sleep loop does explain how human minds work in seclusion or isolation. The story starts with an officer realising that every thing and person have gone static and is not moving even passively by him trying to move. In the background, we are shown that a scientist has found a machine which stops time and had done his trial on the day when this happened. Somehow, the waves which stopped time did not affect 4 people, 3 men and a woman who escaped the time stagnancy. Then, the movie shows how the four move through various buildings, get money-jewels, have food, and roam around in the static day. In the end, they find out the scientist and reverse this condition and once again time starts moving but without the people affected realising it. While this drama of the scientist and the main characters goes on one side, the city comes to normalcy and becomes a usual day with the people and things functioning.

The above is the visual drama in the movie. StΓ©phane takes a step ahead to improvise it with background music including drums and a specially designed instrument of his which gives background sounds for each scene. The sounds take the audience to a different level of understanding, expectation and emotions. Audience is caught in captivation and anticipates the next scene with surprises, unexpected in the normal course of a movie scene sequence. The simultaneous drums played by him and the sound sequences in the background is a different audio treat for the audience.

The two hours of this live musical movie narration was rejuvenating as well as a unique experience never embarked upon before.
